Much like goats are used to to graze on overgrowth of weeds on land, the carp are being used in hopes of eliminating invasive weeds that have been found to be multiplying in the lake.

    If they could selectively introduce only males or females it would be a lot more sustainable IMO.

    An invasive that can’t reproduce is a lot less disastrous, but introducing one invasive to eat another … that’s a cat in the wall problem.
