I think it’s far more varied than that. There are some “true” leftists in the Democratic party. I would much prefer ranked choice voting, proportional representation, etc. to represent all views. Either way we eat a shit sandwich, but one is gourmet shit and comes with the faint hope that one day I will be eating more palatable shit on perhaps higher quality bread.
