Nearby Share is a very apt name - it basically describes exactly what the entire point of it is. You can use it to quickly (and easily) share stuff between Android phones, regardless of maker. And starting today, you can use it to share files between Windows PCs and Android devices.

    Product marketing. I’m still waiting on them (at my employer) to come up with a name for a project I’ve been working on that’s over 6 months old and have no doubt it’ll be dumb

    Update: product marketing didn’t do their job of researching the competition and just now discovered it already exists.
