Yeah, LCDs just polarize light. They’re inherently transparent-ish. Nobody’s done it except as a gimmick because that’s counterproductive to seeing a damn thing onscreen.

As for turning every glass display case into an advertisement - seek legislation banning public advertisements. Really, fuck that shit.
