IMO one shouldn’t underestimate how strong the network effect can be.
For example, after moving, Facebook is the de facto social media where I am. As much as I dislike it, life would have been way too hard if I were to insist on not using it.
True. When your entire friend and family circles are stuck in facebook,instagram, whatsapp etc, there is no way to avoid those unless you want to be cut off.
