Especially considering we still have (more or less) the same CLI for decades at this point. Bourne was from 1977-1979, bash which was heavily inspired/designed to replace was from 1989. It is still the default shell in ubuntu.
Just like the new shitty right click menu. There is no reason to reinvent the wheel just because.
