      Meh, opening the door and having “space” touch your suit is all that’s required in my book. That hurdle is the main one. Words aren’t always strictly literal, we can stretch the closest fitting one around a meaning it can imply in context.

        All true. But the first America space walk in gemini 4 lasted over 20 minutes. I’m sure both ways have merit.

      This milestone is more about developing the technology in the suits and ship. The spacewalk itself really just involved testing out the range of motion of the suit, but the full test involved a lot more changes and tests in the Dragon.
