You new here? I kinda like that you still have enough optimism to feel a sense of shock. I’m pretty jaded - this country’s love affair with guns runs so deep, I can’t even imagine meaningful change.
Even the democratic presidential candidate and her running mate are gun slingers despite being pro regulation. Some small changes would be welcome, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t see us getting anywhere near what more civilized countries have achieved within the next few decades at least.
