minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink1•1 day agoYou can embed LaTeX math formulas in Markdown with $x = y$ on many clients. Let me try: $f(x) = \frac{1}{x}$. Doesn’t seem to work on Lemmy. Maybe a bug/missing feature?
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink3•1 day agoIt’s always a series of extensions nonstandardized but said to all be under the same umbrella. It would be better if these things called a spade a spade & say Markdown-like or Markdown-inspired instead of giving a false sense of compatibility.
You can embed LaTeX math formulas in Markdown with
$x = y$
