My private trackers do have them but if you’re not looking for something specific, it’s difficult to just browse. I’m looking for kids audio books to play on long rides. But I’d like a list to browse through and select from rather than thinking of a book and searching for it. Any ideas?

Edit: is there like a Radarr for audiobooks that might make it easier to browse?

Yes. I used to be able to rent books with an app that let me dig out the mp3s and save them. But then they moved to Libby and it’s got drm and I can’t get the files out

It has increased in complexity but it can still be done by using libby on the web. Use chrome extension: “Libby Audiobook exporter” or Libby Downlaoder .zip get from this github comment github. com/bookbonobo/libby-download-extension/issues/196#issuecomment-2436557981

I find that downloader messes up the first file a bit, so I use exporter for the first track, and downloader for the rest, because exporter can take a while.

I still use Libby. It is temporary just like physical rentals but nbd. They have more books than I could ever listen to.
