Right now, we just started a Kiwico Tinker crate subscription but after some more research, I feel like going with the Mark Rober Crunchlabs box instead. He seems to have pretty fun boxes and good educational videos, similar to or better than his (older) yt videos.
Thoughts? Opinions? Would be appreciated below.
I almost did the kiwi one for my nephew for xmas but ended up buying him a handheld microscope instead. Will have to check out the crunchlabs one
So far we’ve received one of the boxes but after seeing videos of crunch labs and all 12 of their boxes on their website, they seem to have different mechanical systems clearly shown. Whereas kiwico seems to have some random projects and explain how they work.
Since I’ve prepaid an entire year, I guess I’ll have to sit through it and hope the next few boxes will be decent, since no list is shown on which boxes will be arriving next until it’s shipped. Next year, I’ll be switching to Crunchlabs for sure.
