Prompt

I like to start my prompts broad, narrow it down, and then tweak from there. My beginning prompt is simply “an image of a fantastical steampunk ship with HG Wells feels on old-timey paper to resemble blueprints for the ship”.

Theme

Calling all inventors of imagination! Unleash your inner HG Wells in a steampunk-inspired masterpiece where gears, steam, and Victorian wonder collide. It doesn’t have to be a vehicle or structure; the only limit is your imagination.

Voting process

Everyone can submit their image to this post. At the end of the week all images will be collected and shared in a new voting post wherein people can vote on their favorite image. This will be up for at least 24 hours before a winner is made.

There are no extra points to be earned, OP will decide on a winner in case of a tie.

    It’s sad, it feels like a lot of people have stopped using lemmy since the holidays, or at least, stopped coming to this community.

    I’ve been having a lot of fun and I’m surprised it isn’t growing faster.

    What could we do?

      Yea I know what you mean. I don’t know what the cause is though.
      As for what we can do, all I can think of is being more active in the comments? I know I personally feel more motivated to keep posting when I get some kind of feedback.
      Other than that, if anyone can see some excuse to promote the weekly challenge somewhere, that’s always welcome :)
