Unnecessary and deeply concerning bow to the new “king”

Update: position got backed up by an official Proton post on Mastodon, it’s an official Proton statement now. https://mastodon.social/@protonprivacy/113833073219145503

Update 2, plot-twist: they removed this response from Mastodon - seems they realize it exploded into their face!

“Emotional” of seeing that boundary between those who defend the importance of respecting privacy can fall via CEO remarks who does business on privacy

      Hot damn!!

All you “eat the rich” people might just force yourselves into actually living the anti-corporation lifestyle you claim to want instead of just larping. A couple more companies come out in support of making changes under a Republican president and you might just swear off all products!

Of course, Apple has already donated to the inauguration and you haven’t got rid of your iPhones yet, and many of you are willing to give away your information to China and slurp down their white hot propaganda with no issue (RedNote), so I guess your addiction to these products is greater than your convictions.

Hi, don’t have any iphone. i’m not US citizen, neither republican or democrat. i Don’t say “eat the rich”. Just wants privacy, freedom and democracy and expect that money cannot buy everything. And of course, i totally agree with you for never give my information to autocracy like China. Regards
