Halo 3 was the last unique Halo game. Everything since has just been an increasingly steep slide towards being a COD clone set in space.
There’s an argument to be made that Reach was unique enough - but I will die on the hill that is “it still isn’t better than 3”.
Reach was beautiful because it had the perfect version of every weapon except the plasma pistol.
