Looks interesting but that price is quite high for something that duckstation can do for free. Granted it’s hardware not emulation software but I don’t know anything about FPGA’s.
It is priced very competitively and seems to be the most streamlined MiSTer package by far. I didn’t expect founders edition to be still in stock hours after it went live because you’d pay twice as much for such a package normally.
As far as I know it is a full Mister, just in a PSOne style shell, so it doesn’t just play PSX games - in my experience (having bought the Mister Pi a few months ago) it even runs Sega Saturn and N64 stuff well
Those are cool but I doubt they do accurate N64 or Saturn emulation. The Mister devices are more of a premium product for those who care about accuracy but don’t want to use a PC for whatever reason.
Exactly my thoughts. I can buy real PS1 for 50$ where I live, and there are 25$ chinese retroconsoles that are able to run SNES+GBA+SEGA+Dendy+PS1 games (with bad PS1 performance though).

Waiting for the reviews to come in on this system’s N64 performance
That’s always a good idea
And this 24$ thing runs games from 21 consoles (including PSX). Here is 13$ thing that plays 7 consoles.
