I was hopeful that it was just him bouncing off the game, and I also assumed he’d have other moments where he could show me what he was worth under stress. He never did, and eventually I became fully responsible for the both of us.
Like I said, being bad at DS isn’t a red flag. Having no determination and constantly giving up at the first sign of adversity is a red flag. There’s a very faint correlation between the two, but that’s all.
