Sorry, no sneer today. I’m tired of this to the point where I’m dreaming up new software licenses.

A trans person no longer felt safe in our community and is no longer developing. In response, at least four different forums full of a range of Linux users and developers (Lemmy #1, Lemmy #2, HN, Phoronix (screenshot)) posted their PII and anti-trans hate.

I don’t have any solutions. I’m just so fucking disappointed in my peers and I feel a deep inadequacy at my inability to get these fuckwads to be less callous.

      women do not owe you the details about why they leave a community and if you/the community as a whole feel entitled to the answer, then you have the fucking answer

          it’s cool that you discovered a word that lets you call Asahi Lina unnecessarily dramatic and attention-seeking in a way that lets you believe you “never gave an oppinion on the matter” and that you’re just neutrally observing a scientifically studied phenomenon!

        All you’re doing is generating negative sentiment for the cause. You and others might even be doing it intentionally for all I know. Discussion doesn’t mean that Someone agrees with hate. I defined their actions. It doesn’t mean I hate them, although it is annoying and childish as it always has been since the begining of the internet. It’s your sub, so run it however you want. Deleting comments because you don’t understand them is immature. Go ahead and ban me, you’re just power tripping at this point.
