What is one of the first things you do when you get home after a long day at work? If you’re like many, it’s kick off your shoes and socks. Something about...
Walking on rough, uneven, harsh terrain barefoot is a deep tissue massage for your feet so that’s a point and I think this is something that can be taken as proven. Now does it do more than that? Not sure but I’m overall healthier since I walk barefoot. It might be related because since I walk barefoot I also walk a lot more (because it simply doesn’t hurt anymore).
I don’t doubt that barefoot walking does a lot for your health. You’re making a few great points in your video. Those pressure points you’re talking about, though, are called ツボ here in Japan. I have some experience as massage therapist and can tell you, that’s just marketing based on old beliefs. Stimulating your feet does a lot for relaxation (which then has other positive effects), but all massage is more of a prevention method than therapy. Tldr: if you have problems with your eyes, see an optometrist:)
I don’t think the “pressure point” thing is more than a myth. Seems like traditional asian medicine stuff to me.

Oh that’s not my video! :)
On all other points: Totally agreed!
