As long as the power of the companies remains in check, by other companies or the govt, its not really that bad As for some things that large companies are better at, chip manufacturing, sending up satellite infrastructure and banking is stuff their good at and because they have more money they can take more risks. Apple took a massive risk with the apple vision pro, but even though it failed, its not that bad for them. Sometimes the risks that large companies take can help them a lot, like the decision spaceX made to land their rockets vertically or apple making the first iPhones.
