Robert Bowers, the gunman who killed 11 worshippers and wounded six others at a Pittsburgh synagogue in 2018 in the deadliest-ever attack on Jewish people in the United States, was unanimously sentenced to death by a federal jury on Wednesday.

    Just so everyone’s aware, there is also a moratorium on the death penalty in Pennsylvania (where this took place). No executions have been committed since 1999 despite any sentencing since then: Wikipedia.

      This was a federal case, which also has a moratorium. His fate is independent from Pennsylvania law
