    Exactly. My coworker is very overweight and they’re trying to lose it, and they’re explicitly avoiding running and focusing on walking for exactly this reason.

    Even if you’re not overweight, walk before you run so you can build up all the supporting muscles you’ll need so you don’t injure yourself.

      Yeah I’d say you should probably try swimming or something instead. Unsure of any other activities that are easier for the body.

          Walking for a long time with that size might be difficult still. Cycling could be uncomfortable depending on the seat but that’s kinda fixable. I was biking for a time and my ass hurt

            Gym exercise bikes tend to have really wide seats, so that’s a good option. Or you can get a wider seat for your regular bike as well.

            The important thing is to get active, and ideally vary your exercises a bit.
