I’ve been using ChatGPT for roleplay. So far, it’s been amazing at DnD-type games, both as the storyteller and as the player. It can weave immersive storylines when it’s in control, and provide compelling arguments for its actions as a player, which impresses me.
The commenter is probably referring to OpenAI’s recent custom instructions update which allows ChatGPT to consider information across all queries.
