I found a what I’m assuming is a fly cutter minus the blade/insert, for a dollar it’s 2in in diameter. The only thing is I have no idea what size/where to find an insert, do you use a lathe bit? I’ve read some guides, but they never say it’s a lathe bit. I have personally never used a fly cutter, but I assume it’s a lot like a 3in face mill

So after doing some digging I found a lathe bit that would fit into the hole however it’s pretty small, but if I found a piece of HSS that would work would this be a good blueprint for a fly cutter bit? Also, the collet to hold the fly cutter I do own, however I have no idea what it’s actually called…
