The student population got smaller and smaller while fancy new buildings appeared.

I guess this is politics. This is happening in red states. Schools are getting worse because they can.

          Everyone benefits when people go to school. I do pay for my schooling, and that of the doctors who will treat me in my old age, through taxes. It should go further.

      If you read the article you’d learn:

      1. It was explicitly set up to subsidize education for rural people.

      2. Just one of the departments getting cut is projected to make $800,000…
