I have a 2060 and am thinking about u[grading to a RX 6800 XT, but i’m a little concerned about the process of switching such cards. Is it a pain or is it as simple as plugging in the new card and downloading the amd equivalent of Geforce experience.

It’s very simple.

Uninstall Nvidia drivers and Geforce experience, swap in the new card and install the AMD drivers. Easy done.
