If they’re cracking down on the people gluing themselves to random objects/highways and, as is described in the article, assaulting others with rocks, then I see nothing wrong with that.

Seriously being treated as a terrorist and 30 days of jail for maybe glueing yourself on a street as polictical protest, is a normal fair reaction in your mind?

Can you point me to any of the climate protestors being convicted in a court for stopping or delaying emergency services? Because I know of cases were the police lied about this kind of stuff happening.

So you see anything wrong with the people in power basically dooming humanity to a climate ravaged future?

Because to me that is far far far more extreme and unacceptable than some small number of protestors.

I wish protestors could go far further. They are perfectly justified in doing so.

Yeah, no, sorry, I’m not gonna side against the protestors. What they should truly do is halt the whole economy, to really make the people in power feel it.

Anything less than that and it can just be ignored.

“oh the inconvenience!” piss off you’ll be remembering this in a few years when the supply chains go to shit cause of the impending temp shift

Right, self-described “climate protestors” aren’t necessarily helping the environment.

We are all doing better than the “glue yourself to things” people because they’re moving things backwards, turning people against climate action, distracting from climate issues.

Of course they don’t. They have some complexes in their heads and like “being important” and “doing the right thing”

What can your average office worker do about that? I literally said that these people target the absolutely wrong.
