      Yep. There’s a large difference between a nation who says “it didn’t happen and if it did they deserved it” and one that says “yeah we did some fucked up shit. It was fucked up and bad”

      Coming from someone living in a “Western” country that genocided the native population (guess which one!) that will either not admit it, will say “that’s what happens in war,” or just start screaming incoherently, this is incorrect.

        I hate when I’m trying to talk to my friends, family and co-workers and they all start screaming.

        That’s why these days I wear ear protection because once you lose hearing you’ll never get it back again.

        I learned about the genocide in school. They definitely did not paint the Westerners as the good guys. So I would definitely say that this “Western” country admits it.
