    I would love to see this further contextualised with a per capita value as well as a property value comparison. The latter would be difficult but it is quite common that more expensive properties get assessed more under their value than “cheaper” properties do!

      I’m sure we’ll see the same issue with every other city:

      • Suburbs subsidized by the downtown core
      • Top quartile pays less than their fair share

        Oh definitely, it’s just a matter of quantifying that and having a useful resource to point to to really drive that home!
