“Porn” implies consent. Since children can’t consent, there’s no such thing as child porn, hence “child sexual abuse material”.
Wait, so ‘revenge porn’ implies it is consensual?
I do prefer the clearer CSAM that doesn’t imply porn being inherently bad, but pretty sure that porn implying consent is a newly promoted concept.
Funny you should mention that, there’s a push to rebrand revenge porn as IBSA, “image based sexual abuse”, for exactly that reason
