How difficult is it to keep a good ratio on myanonymouse? There was one recommended for Audiobooks that seemed like a royal pain to keep in good standing, but I can’t remember which one it was.

I found in the beginning it may be a bit hard simply because it takes some time. What I mean by this is that the initial ratio you start with will allow you to download a small amount of content to begin seeding and earning “gold” from. You basically just have to keep seeding more as you get more room in your ratio to grab more without getting too low. I found that once you rank up and can get VIP from your gold you are pretty set on the site and never have to worry. I got to a point pretty rapidly where I no longer have to worry about my ratio.

I’d say MAM also helped me get into other private trackers and now I am some of the harder to get into ones like GGN.

When you join you will be gifted thousands of bonus points by current members, and you can use those points to buy upload credit to pad your ratio. You also earn those credits for seeding based on time, not actual data uploaded.

In addition, there is a ton of freeleach content available, and it’s good stuff too.

That’s pretty awesome! I’m going to be joining this week most likely. Just need to figure out my seeding situation and I’ll be all set. Planning to seed from a local server through a VPN with a port forward, so hopefully that won’t be an issue going in.

There are some special steps you have to follow to set up seeding from a VPN, but they have a guide for it and it isn’t that complicated. I’m happy to help if you get stuck.
