If it helps the traffic situation, please, God, yes. We to to Severs each year and the traffic for the Ren Fest had been increasingly insane each year. Glad they’re finally doing something to address it.

    I know someone that had worked at the Fest for many years and they constantly make comments on how poorly the parking is managed. The crew even had shirts made joking about how bad the traffic on 169 is.

    While I do agree that the local/state governments should help to make sure it is successful for all, balancing the needs of the local community with the event, that doesn’t completely absolve the organizers from their responsibilities to be good stewards to the surrounding area where possible.
