Its so difficult to stay but i want to. The android app needs a lot of work. But i enjoy it from time to time.

I have been uaing Reddit since 2009 so it will be extremely difficult to leave reddit.

I will use reddit, lemmy and Tumblr.

If you’re referring to Jerboa I completely agree. The idea is cool, but I find myself either disinterested in what’s new, or bored of seeing the same posts over and over. I don’t know if this is a problem with the app itself (which does need work) the lack of community compared to reddit, or just Lemmy’s framework of a social media, which is very confusing. Not to mention you can only view communities or whatever if someone in the same instance as you is already following it. I feel like a lot of Lemmy’s framework cuts it short of what it could be, one, and I also feel like the lack of a very large and dedicated community is making the experience not as enjoyable.

I use sort by new comment to see new post that have some comments in it.

and I also feel like the lack of a very large and dedicated community is making the experience not as enjoyable.

Same, also there’s the same community in multiple server so sometimes same post is posed on the same community on a different server

Update Jerboa to 0.0.35, was released 7h ago, and it’s already a major step forward. Currently only on github. It will give you an error about the server version but works regardless.

And since Sync is being ported over as we speak ([email protected]) with an MVP announced in ~6 weeks, that will be a major boost.

Sync for Reddit was the single best app out there, and the developer is now porting it over.

You can have a look at the reddit app for another few days if you want to get a feeling of what it’s like.
