Jaswant Singh Chail, who was 19 at the time of his arrest on Christmas Day, 2021, scaled the walls of Windsor Castle’s grounds with a mask and a loaded high-power crossbow. He said his intent was, as a British Sikh, to assassinate the Queen in a Star Wars-inspired plan to avenge the 1919 Jallianwalla Bagh massacre, a colonial-era atrocity during British rule in India. Prosecutors said that Chail was encouraged to undertake this plot after discussing it at length with an AI-powered chatbot that egged him on and bolstered his resolve.

So he actually wasn’t late and he wanted to snipe her with a x-bow. On X-mas. I’m struggling to imagine what could’ve happened if he succeeded and we woke up to these headlines.

It could’ve been mentioned in his sex chat, maybe? Yeah, it’s BS. But he had an episode, so no logic applies.

Kinda wish he did succeed, but in the end it’s just “Guy uses sex chatbot to convince himself it would be manly to kill the queen” as @[email protected] elucidated.

Not to mention the massacre was not anything to do with Her Authoritarianness anyway. It would have really solidified 2020 as the year of wtf.

I think it’s better this didn’t happen because it could brought more attention and even grieve to all this rotten family, while it’s no problem to replace one monarch with another. If something, I wish they could’ve became just a tourist attraction stripped of their wealth and property, playing their role just like Lenin impersonators on the Red square. £1000 and Her Majesty would visit your bithday party, +£500 and she’d make you a knight. Drive it down to theme park’s fanservice, equal to Doctor Who, Sherlock Holmes and Harry Potter. It’d hurt it more than a stray arrow killing just one head of this hydra.
