      I don’t claim to be an Islamic scholar in the least bit, but is there not a different case if a woman converts after her marriage, for example?

        I think you’re underestimating just how little rights women have in islam. Like it is one the most misogynistic and anti-women force in human history. It really is that extreme, and the more you look into it the worse it gets. Men get all the rights, privileges, and exceptions in islam, women barely get anything at all.
