Hamas does terrible things for publicity. Israel does horrible things for many reasons, but including that they care much more about their soldiers safety than the safety of Palestine civilians.

And no, they do very much care about their safety. Otherwise they would just flatten everything but they warn residents in the area 3hrs before they strike. Even with an additional „knocking“ warning strike before the real strike
