The Oregon Board of Education signed off Thursday on a new framework for health and human sexuality lessons that must be taught to public school students statewide by 2025.
I am not religious and I opted my kid out of sex education. What was being taught was crap and as such I taught her at home.
I believe as a young woman she should understand birth control, consent, abortion, etc. She needs to understand them all to make decisions tht fit with her morals and values.
Now I agree many of the people are opting out for religious reasons but that isn’t the only reason one would opt out.
