There were a few things that I had to search for and get used to finding in the Fediverse, and sometimes the UI can be clunky, but after using it for a couple weeks it’s becoming a lot easier.

Most of the communities I’ve joined here offer much of the same content, but, as many other have noted, significantly better conversation. It’s been refreshing.

I’m glad to be here for the beginning, and am very curious to see where this all goes!
