A new Health Canada report says the number of medically assisted deaths in 2022 was more than 30 per cent higher than the year prior.

    Well yea, it was still illegal not that long ago, the numbers are gonna jump for a bit.
    The vast majority of these people would be dead either way as most were already on palliative care.

    Having the option is nice, better than starving to death in a vegetative state over several days.
