    Your choices are to pay for the app if it has that option (and sync does), use an ad blocker, or get into modding apps so that you can DIY your way around it.

    Or switch to Connect for Lemmy.

      Or any of the other ad free options, which includes open source options as well.

      I like sync, so I use it, but there’s a ton of options out there.
