I think everyone needs to remember that we have essentially turned this virus into the new flu. We’ll probably settle to pushes for yearly vaccines to reduce symptoms and the chance of passing it on, like the flu. And if you’re not immunocompromised or elderly, then think of those around you who might be. They are the ones you’re affecting as well as yourself if you get this vaccine.

True. This is still a more infectious and dangerous virus than the flu itself.
I mainly was talking about the path to recurring vaccines in my earlier comment. We aren’t killing it. We need to learn how to live with it now, and that includes recurring vaccines unfortunately.

Or we could lock everyone up at gunpoint until the virus dies.
I think China tried that one already. It doesn’t seem like it worked as well as they hoped.
When the rest of the world is plague rats I imagine not.
