I have an MSI Pro B660M-A motherboard and a 12600 (non-K) CPU with 3070Ti, Corsair RM650 PSU, and 4x8gb 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM.

I want to maximize the potential of this build by upgrading to the 14600k, as I can get one for very cheap this coming holiday sale. Is this a good upgrade or I should just stay with my 12600 and save the money?

I think the chipset in your motherboard doesn’t allow overclocking? Am I wrong? that’s why you have the non K version of the 12th gen, so you would have to get a non k version of the 14th gen. But I may be wrong.
