AFAIK if you use
https://r.yattee.stream/manifest-invidious-piped.json, it automatically fetches the list of instances. Can’t try it out right now since I switched away from iOS. On GrapheneOS I don’t have any of these issues, I can simply sideload any app I want meaning I can actually use a proper YouTube client like LibreTube.
