I think you summed it up pretty nicely. It’s all a sharade “oh we’re gonna fuck this guy up”. In reality, they have just as much to loose from it. I’m sure there are some high profile democrats that did some illegal things in Trumps administration… and I bet Trump and other high profile republicans knew about them as well.
