Meta just announced that they are trying to integrate Threads with ActivityPub (Mastodon, Lemmy, etc.). We need to defederate them if we want to avoid them pushing their crap into fediverse.

    Look at the history of XMPP, to give you a precursor of what to expect. There’s no naivety here. Those who don’t history are doomed to repeat it.
