Doesn’t sound like an inbox complaint through the site. Sounds like they actually contacted the company.
I didn’t say it did? Do you have problems with literacy?
Also this is a forum for discussion, not a court and clearly you’re not a lawyer and I’m not saying whether I am or not as I made no appeal to authority, I stated a fact.
You can’t just ignore facts because you don’t like reality.
Facts like the fact that you’re defending the business that has admitted to having hosted illegal content they were asked to remove from their server but didn’t? “Oh but they receive so many complaints, they surely couldn’t do anything about it!” Well funny that, they actually changed their practices so I guess there was something they could do but they just didn’t bother because it would have cost them money, right?
Hell, they had one person taking care of checking flagged content Monday to Friday from 9 to 5 and there’s leaked emails that show they didn’t want authorities to know that they didn’t check unless there were enough flags on a video. That means that if a child porn video was uploaded on Friday at 5:30 it wouldn’t get removed before sometime Monday at the minimum. Tell me again how they couldn’t do better!
“Oh but there’s nothing they could do about it! They get so many fake complaints!”
You know what? If I own a store and I let anyone sell anything in it then you can be fucking sure that I’ll be one of the persons that will get blamed if someone is selling CSAM in my store, well it’s fucking time these sites face the music too, if they don’t want to filter the content hosted on their website then they shouldn’t let anyone upload whatever they want on them.
But yeah, go ahead, keep defending Pornhub, I’m sure they care about you very very much.
They got contacted directly by the women involved and didn’t remove the videos, how is it hard to know?

That works for anonymous or user complaints, but when the women involved in the video complain, there is obviously some sort of issue.
You realize all complaints go to the same inbox, right?

The prior notes still stand, specifically the plethora of false claims.
So how does that absolves them of their legal responsibilities exactly?

You seem pretty hell bent on defending them and acting like it’s perfectly normal they they didn’t listen to the complaints.
Ah, so you actually don’t know how to read.
Have a good day, try reading a few novels and maybe do an english class or two seeing as you can’t understand something as basic as a fact.
For reference, facts don’t take sides, they just are. Unlike your “ability” to interpret information freely provided.
