One thing that doesn’t get enough mention is the massive inflation in luxuries. Back when the average salary was $5,000/ year, a super car was about $6,000. In those days $1 million was a vast fortune. Today things like concert or sports tickets are over $1,000.
I don’t understand how these concerts are selling so many tickets at those prices. I make decent money and no kids, but dropping 1k+ on just a ticket to a show is not in the budget. Who the fuck are the people attending these?
