    Profit driven companies do not change because of cost. Those are completely separate things.

    It’s not “Oh, our cost went up. Better raise prices.” It’s “How can we raise prices to increase profits while not losing market share?”

      Yep, never heard of JetBlue removing seats from their planes due to fuel costs. Or Google killing tons of products due to non-profitability. Or any of the other countless stories of companies pivoting due to increasing costs.

      See: just about every big company in 2008 or 2020.

      It’s not solely “let’s increase profits while not losing market share”. It’s literally BOTH of what we are saying.
