I’ve been using Kiwi as my daily driver on Android since, and I must say, I’m a big fan! Being able to have any extension has been fantastic. The biggest thing I’m missing from Firefox, is the integrated reader mode button. Trying to read any article on the modern Internet, without a reader mode, is an absolute nightmare. I’ve been using Article Reader, and Google’s Android-wide Reader view app as replacements, as I couldn’t find a Chrome extension that worked well enough in Kiwi, and while they’re not nearly as seamless, they’ve served their purpose. Decided to make a 4 tap reader mode workflow for Kiwi. Here you go:
Steps: install pocket, log in, share to it once, you’ll get it in the quick share section of kiwi, then you’ll have it there in the menu like in the video. Tap top right, tap pocket, tap the pop-up, tap the article, quick and easy reader mode.
