Half the reason I root is to get rid of that bloody bar on Pixel. Poor Samsung users!

So you use the features without this stupid white line? Yeah that makes a lot of sense, I think I did that on a rooted phone before.
This makes using “swipe to previous app” gesture harder in case app has a list with swipeable elements (such as Gmail) One of the purposes of the gesture bar is to prevent such conflicts.
I never noticed any issues.
