It is an appliance so perhaps your setup makes it more difficult to use. I leave it near the sink and just use it with my slobbering mouth over the sink. No more time or effort than flossing for me.
I will say the thing is louder than it should be. Like a damn motor boat when turned up to high.
Or use a Water Pick. I switch it up every other day and use floss in between.
Some dentists don’t like floss as it can sometimes drive those bits further down.
I also love my water pick but it is considerably more of a chore to do.
I find it much easier and dislike flossing more
